American singer and songwriter Bruno Mars recorded his first song 'Just the Way You Are' for his debut album 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans'. During the 2011 Grammy Awards it won a Grammy Award under Best Male Pop Vocal Performance category. It sold more than 12 million copies and was the best selling digital single of 2011. It topped the US Billboard 100.

Meghan Trainor's debut single "All About That Bass" is said to be inspired from 'Just the Way You Are'. The music video shows a girl listening to Just the Way You Are, when Bruno comes in the removes the cassette from girl's player. He then starts singing by himself and forms characters from cassette’s tape. The video was viewed 980 million times on YouTube, as of September 2017.
